With the cost of feather shuttlecocks continuing to increase, Yonex have developed a plastic shuttle which plays as close to a feather shuttle as possible.The Mavis 2000 is the nearest thing to the flight of a feather shuttlecock - it is more pointed at the top which gives it a nice curve through the air rather than the sharp drop which is normally associated with plastic shuttlecocks.
