We have just taken delivery of the new 2009 Gunn & Moore pads and gloves and they are available for immediate dispatch from our website. The rest of the GM range, including the new bats are expected to arrive next week.

We have just added the new Puma Evolution Cricket Bats to our website and are taking pre-orders for delivery in November when they are released.

The Evolution has been designed with 20/20 cricket in mind and will be used by all Puma players in the 20/20 World Cup. It is a completely new bat profile that takes balance and lightweight pick-up to new levels.

It has just been announced that England Captain Kevin Pietersen has been signed by Adidas. Adidas are entering the cricket market in 2009 with a new range of bats, pads, gloves and accessories. Images will follow shortly but you can pre-order the new Adidas Cricket Bats on our website now for delivery in December before Christmas.

For 2009 the Catalyst and Purist II will remain exactly the same, but Gunn & Moore are revamping the Hero and bringing out a completely new bat called the Icon DXM. The Icon is designed for power with thick edges and a super concave profile.

Over the last 5 years, Gunn & Moore have been researching bat making technology and the Icon and Hero will be made using their brand new machinery, which includes computer aided design and a state of the art computer aided manufacturing machine which will craft the blade to exact precision. For the first time, junior bats will actually have exactly the same shape as their adult counterparts. This new technology creates big bats with light pickups. Below are some new images of the bats.

Sean Ervine has had one of the best weeks of his Hampshire career, and has put it all down to his new Funky bat. Last week he scored 103 to help win Hampshire's Pro40 match against Middlesex at Lord's, and on Friday he smashed an unbeaten 94 to guide Hampshire to a dramatic win against Durham. We have just taken delivery of the brand new 2008/09 range from TK Hockey. Their hockey sticks have been completely revamped for the new season and they also have a new range of stick bags and protection.

Adidas are entering the cricket market in a major way in 2009 and today saw the launch of their new range at Edgbaston. Their bats - called Libro, Pellara and Incurza - come in a variety of grades from £25 all the way up to £325. They will also have a complete range of pads, gloves, accessories and a new range of shoes. We will be amongst the first to take delivery of the new equipment when it comes out in December.
